Products Emulsions
Ritver has created a line of emulsions that are truly different from our competitors. Firstly, all of our Paints are non VOC rated. Which means, we make only environmentally friendly paints which do not harm the environment or people (especially children).
All our range of Emulsions are made with the finest of raw materials which go on surfaces and feel like a smooth velvet sheet.
Our Budget Undercoat is the lowest cost primer available. It has excellent coverage and is brighter and whiter than our competitors product of equivalent comparison. But ask any painter that knows Ritver and what you will hear is “you don't need to buy primer sealer cause Ritver Paint is very strong”. Undercoat is a low cost paint good for covering a project where you do not want to spend too much due to budget or need temporary cover. It is not recommended for use on any of our Texture Paints. Why? Because it doe not contain characteristics of sealing, bonding or any fungicides. It is fine as a budget product for simple tasks where longevity is not an issue. We make it because the market demands lower cost products. But we still put in our best even in the lowest cost product.
Our Primer Sealer is one of the best in the business. If you need a good sealer, with great bonding capability for the top coat and need something that will not build fungus and bacteria, than, our Primer Sealer is what you need. In fact it is so good, you can even use is as a top coat. But we do not recommend it as the right way to cover an environment is to use our Primer Sealer and than add one of our top coats below.
Our Weatherguard (exterior all weather) paint is (Matt Acrylic) superior to anything available in the Ugandan market. Don't just take our word for it, TRY it and see for yourself. Our Weatherguard Paint has excellent coverage, fantastic finish and a skin that is ready to tackle the harshest of environments.
Our Satin Emulsion is a (Matt Acrylic) fantastic interior paint with what we call minimal sheen. Which means you will enough shine to give you brilliance, but not enough to make you feel like you are in a hospital. Matt finishes are highly recommended for all environments from an architectural perspective as well as not enhancing any defects in the plastering.
Our Industrial Compound is a fantastic gem of a product for sealing potentially wet areas, or on outdoor/indoor floors, facia boards or even wood and metal. It is a universal water bourne emulsion that has sealant qualities. It is comes in a thick consistency to allow for great adhesion and settling.
All of our Emulsions above can be tinted to any colour you can imagine. Which means millions of combinations. We generally use the Natural Colour System (NCS) colour palettes that is used by quite a number of our competitors as well. But on top of all this, we reference other colour systems or palettes from RAL, BS, Pantone etc...But don't worry about this. We can create any colour you require.
We highly recommended that in any of your projects, you use finishing compounds such as our Gypsum Joint Compound (for cracks, and small holes) and our Plaster Putty for larger surfaces to cover plastering defects, rough or rendered walls. Then apply 1 coat of our Primer Sealer and 2 coats of our Satin Emulsion for interior surfaces. For exterior walls, we recommend you use white portland cement as filler and then 1 coat of our primer sealer and 2 coats of our Weatherguard Emulsion.
Ritver's secret also lies in the colourant that we use. All of our exterior products come with what is known as UV light fast colourants. Which means there will be no fading or changing of colours. Our interior colourants are also from the same suppliers who are experts in the art of colour. This means you will get brighter, richer, deeper colours than you have ever seen before.
